Ridge gourd bajji recipe | crispy bajji recipe

No amount of diet or discipline can stop you from craving for this delicious snack called bajji πŸ˜‹.



You can literally use any vegetable slice for this recipe, all you have to know is the ingredients for the perfect bajji batter.

So here's the recipe -

Recipe -

🌱In a bowl add 1 cup chikpea flour(besan), 4tbsp rice flour, 1 tsp red chilly powder, a big pinch turmeric powder, a pinch of asafoetida (hing), some crushed ajwain(om Kalu), 2 tbsp hot oil, a big pinch of baking soda and salt. 

🌱Add water as required and form a medium thick batter as shown in the video.

🌱Add your choice of sliced veggies ( I have used Ridge gourd and potato), coat them well and deep fry in hot oil ( medium flame) until golden brown.

🌱That's it enjoy with a hot cup of coffee or tea.
